The Voyage of Nonsuch

analysing how film and film archives influence our view of cultural history, social space and everyday life. The final film essay, constructed with a script composed almost entirely of citations, observes and participates in the social and political spaces of the archive. Filmed on location in the British Film Institute (BFI) Archive. Transferred 16mm film and colour digital HD, 26 minutes. A Whitstable Biennale commission.
